biography
Jo Mills began her DJ journey in 1991 while working at London’s iconic Flying Records, surrounded by some of the city’s most influential tastemakers — including Rocky and Ashley Beedle of X-Press 2 fame. DJing wasn’t something she set out to do, but a lifelong passion for music and countless nights spent at Soho’s legendary Flying Club sparked her curiosity. Under the guidance of DJ Mark Wilkinson, Jo quickly learned her craft and soon found herself confidently holding her own behind the 1’s and 2’s.
Her early sets at the legendary Full Circle Parties at The Greyhound in Colnbrook became defining moments — Sunday sessions filled with energy, community, and pure love for the music. Those five happy (and hazy!) years at Flying Records became Jo’s foundation and launchpad for what would become a truly global career.
Since then, Jo has taken her sound around the world, but her heart — and home — belong to the island of Ibiza. She is best known for her five-year residency at Circoloco, one of the island’s most iconic underground parties, and for her current weekly residency with Azuli at El Divino. With deep roots in house music culture and decades of experience behind the decks, Jo Mills continues to inspire dancefloors worldwide with her passion, energy, and unmistakable groove.
