Mark Adams, known as Duke, rose to fame in the 90s with the hit So In Love with You, which became a dance classic. The song gained traction with house remixes by Pizzaman (1994) and Full Intention (1995), entering the UK Dance Charts in 1994.
The Pizzaman Remix caught the attention of DJ Marcello in Amsterdam, leading to widespread DJ support and topping the Dutch club/dance charts in 1995. The single’s radio release reached #3 on the Dutch Singles Chart and dominated charts across Europe and worldwide in 1995/96.
In the UK, the Full Intention Remix peaked at #22 on the Singles Chart, while later remixes by Dred Poets (2000) and Haji & Emanuel (2006) reached #13 and #14 on the UK Independent Chart, respectively. The track also claimed the #1 spot on the US Billboard Dance Club Chart in 1997.
Duke followed up with Greater, which reached #9 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart in 1998.
