Katherine Ellis is a respected and versatile vocalist and topline writer. Her vast repertoire includes ‘When You Touch Me’ by The Freemasons, ‘Dreaming’ by the Ruff Driverz presents Arrolla, Fascinated by Raven Maize and ‘Lost’ by Roger Sanchez. Katherine is also the third member of the band BIMBO JONES, they have released 2 albums featuring the anthems ‘And I Try’ and ‘Harlem One Stop’. Katherine also sang the title track of the Oscar and Bafta winning Hollywood film ‘Gravity’.
As well as being a skilled vocalist, Katherine is an engaging performer who lives for her work on the stage and has travelled internationally for many years and enthuses and enthrals her audiences without fail. Appearing on TV shows like Graham Norton on BBC, Top of The Pops and the TMF Awards in Antwerp, she also lights up festivals and clubs around the world including Glastonbury, London Pride, Dyagilev in Russia as well as myriad private events and restaurant openings. On top of all this, Katherine’s voice also appears in movies Gravity, Evita, The Lawnmower man and What A Girl Wants and TV adverts for international companies including McDonalds, KFC and Gaviscon (What a Feelin’).
Katherine has also performed backing vocals for Belinda Carlilse, Boy George, Chaka Kahn, Robbie Williams and Steps.
Katherine performs her hits worldwide to backing track. Katherine also performs Jazz, blues, soul and disco with a backing track, pianist or band and has performed with an Orchestra on the Atlantis Cruises. Songs include classics such as Walk On By, Natural Woman, Autumn Leaves, My Baby Just Cares For Me, Ain’t No Stopping Us Now and Cee Lo Green’s Forget You.
Katherine is also a DJ, playing mainly vocal house and incorporating singing her own tracks live within her sets.
