Dawn Tallman, known as “The Queen of Gospel Energy,” was born in Danbury, Connecticut, and began singing in church before making a name in R&B and dance music. She has collaborated with numerous artists and DJs, performing internationally.
Her career highlights include features on Kings Of Tomorrow’s Set My Spirit Free (1997), Hex Hector’s remix of Wake Up (1999), and Soulstar Syndicate’s Take Me (2000), which charted in France. In 2005, she joined U.D.A.U.F.L., a collective of dance artists.
In 2006, her single Work It Out with DJ Disciple became a dance hit, receiving airplay in Ibiza and on BBC Radio 1. She later released Save a Place on the Dance Floor For Me (2006) on West End Records.
In 2015, she was featured on Bob Sinclar’s Feel the Vibe, which topped the US Dance chart and charted in France, Belgium, and Italy.
