Lisa MIllett is one of the UK’s best loved vocal house divas. With numerous dance hits to her name, she continues to stay in the limelight as a recording artist and renowned live performer both at home and internationally.
Some of her best known hits include Bad Habit, Now You’re Gone, Say Yes, Bring Me Down, I’ll Be Good, Sleep Talk (Defected), Soul Heaven. Best Of Me, BurningUp, Disco Down (Azuli), This Time Baby (Quantize), Music Is My Way Of Life (Soulfuric) It’s Alright (Purple Music). The list goes on…
With a background in classical and jazz and a long term lover of all things funky, she is unique in her skills of improvising on live performances to keep you on the dance floor. If the mood takes her she’ll jam with any DJ, all adding to your live experience of her. Having recently set up her own label (Bettiquette Records), her first release Feel Real with friend and producer/DJ Dave Anthony (This Time Baby) is another floor stomper. Though best known for house music, Bettiquette is where she’ll be showcasing other genres Lisa likes to dabble in, including her latin soul outfit Grupo X, with a live album due for imminent release.
Also a member of De-Tronic, a live house music band began by DJ/producer John Fitz (Fitz & Herd) with a line-up of UK house & garage vocalists, including Leanne Mason (Sweet Female Attitude) & Steve Edwards (World Hold On) this is where you can hear all their hottest songs in a live band setting.
