Melanie Williams is a singer-songwriter, producer, actor well known for her chart topping club anthem with Sub Sub “Ain’t No Love Ain’t No Use”, “Everyday Thang”, Frankie Knuckles, “Talk Much”, David Morales and for those in the know “Don’t Wanna Ask You”, Satoshi Tomi, “Not Enough”, Junior Vasquez, who played it in tears at the closing of the iconic Sound factory in New York. Her recording collaborations and live performances with music industry giants and brands such as Hacienda Classical, Carl Cox and Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco with vocal contributions to their latest MD Funk Connection Album and guesting with the stunning live experience of Mr. Wilson’s second Liners, whose epic performance of The Leftfield Album at Blue Dot Festival inspired rave reviews.
Her first love her neo soul band Butterfly Jam but diverse in her range of musical genres… not liking to be boxed through lockdown she got involved with the soundtrack and participation in Vegan Vampires from Zorg by producer Mike Bennett.A B movie horror film centred around a vinyl store documentary.Single releases coming out with tracks such as The Healer & Heterochromia featuring Peter Hook on bass.
From club anthems to neo soul to writing contributions on the new Fuzzbox album taking her into pop punk ,the journey continues around the world, covering just about every eclectic blend throughout her career.
Currently expanding upon writing collaborations with David Morales, Joe Roberts, Eric Gooden, Mike Bennet, Roni Size, to name a few.
Through lucrative times and lean through motherhood, marriage and changes in the Music Industry mechanism, she has stayed true to her creative nature primarily thriving on writing about the nitty gritty aspects of life. The light and the dark of relationships, music and healing being her passionate interest!
