biography
Music has always been at the heart of Jules Pinkney. From learning piano as a child to producing some of the UK’s most iconic festivals and events, she has spent more than three decades living and breathing the culture. Her career began in the early ’90s at Kiss FM, straight out of university, and soon led to work with BBC TV, Eden (Ibiza) and Pacha (Egypt) , and major UK festivals including Boardmasters, All Points East, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and even the Queen’s Funeral.

After years of running things behind the scenes, Jules took her passion for house music to the decks—bringing her deep musical roots and event experience into her DJing. Her sound blends funky, jackin’ and vocal house with uplifting basslines that light up the dance floor and connect with crowds on a deeper level.

Since stepping out as a DJ, Jules has supported some of the scene’s most respected names, including Fat Tony, K-Klass, Jeremy Healy, and Danny Rampling, as well as producing events that feature Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Gok Wan, and Masters at Work. From intimate club nights to luxury beach parties in the Maldives, she has built a reputation for high-energy sets with her trademark warmth and flair.

In May 2025, Jules released her debut house track, DESTINY – White Feathers (Curious Energy Records), marking her first step into music production and a bold new chapter in her career.

Alongside live gigs, Jules also hosts a weekly show on SHINE879 DAB radio every Thursday from 6–8pm, where she champions underground house and showcases fresh emerging talent.

Looking ahead, Jules is preparing to launch a book and podcast in 2026 exploring mindfulness and wellness in dance music—subjects she actively promotes within the scene, particularly in support of young people navigating the industry.

For Jules, DJing is about more than just music—it’s about community, connection, and that shared magic when a track takes over the room.
